The Office of Research Development was recently established within the Office of Research. The function of this Office is to help faculty obtain funding for Research. Jane Schultz, Ph.D., Director of Research Development, arrived at UCR in February of 2004. The ORD office will:

Post current Solicitations and due dates
Manage Limited Submissions
Help to develop interdisciplinary research groups
Contact program officers or review administrators for information relative to grant preparation or review questions
Assist in interpretation of reviews
Provide general assistance with grant preparation
Identify funding sources
Inform the campus about general news pertaining to UCR grant activity
Organize grant writing workshops
